For my final project I was asked to create my ideal classroom.  I really enjoyed this assignment because it allowed me the opportunity to be creative with what I wanted for the future.  Having your own classroom and creating your expectations is a lot to think about.  To create my classroom layout I used a website called classroom.4teachers.  This was a really useful website that allowed me to design my classroom the way I wanted with the student desks, materials, student centers, technology, and creative corners for literature.  I then used screen-cast-o-matic to record a presentation of my classroom and discuss the theories I used to back up my decisions.  I then detailed my information even further through a creative paper.
As teachers we are afforded so many teaching opportunities and need to ensure that we take full advantage of each and every one of them.  I want my students to know that my classroom will be a safe environment where they can always feel comfortable asking questions.  My students will continue to be engaged and motivated at all times.  I want them to be creative and to push the envelope.  The classroom will be a discovery zone where they can become scientists, archeologists, and learners.  They can work together to form bonds, and relationships, while helping one another.
