These images show how social media affects self-esteem and body image in children, teens, and adults.  Especially women they have this image imprinted in their minds what they are suppose to look like and sometimes will do anything to achieve that.  Teens today are obsessed with social media such as facebook, instagram, and twitter.  The more friends and likes you have the better you feel about yourself.  As educators it is our job to ensure that our students respect one another and help one another.  We need to ensure that body image is not harming our students and that we are doing whatever we can to deter them from that.

These were really difficult videos to watch.  School violence is heart wrenching a terrible thing to have to endure.  School violence is increasing and we have to try and work together to reduce it if at all possible.  Statistics for bullying are increasing and are still really low since many students are afraid to report their attackers.
